Chris Rivinus

Director of Operations

Chris Rivinus is Director of Operations at Energy Aspects, a global data & intelligence house that advises leading organisations globally on energy markets and geopolitics.


Chris has over a decade of operations experience working in energy, spending nearly 10 years in upstream oil and gas at Tullow Oil, supporting the operation of assets in Asia and North America and the development of assets in Africa, including the build of the FPSO Prof. John Evans Atta Mills before joining EA in 2020. Prior to joining Tullow, Chris worked in civil engineering and architecture and was involved in the delivery of large-scale US infrastructure projects including the World Trade Center site redevelopment, the Alaska Way Viaduct project in Seattle and the design of the Second Avenue Subway in New York City. He holds a Master's in International Business Transactions from Denver University, an MBA from Colorado State, and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Vassar College.
