Øyvind Eriksen

Øyvind Eriksen has been the President and CEO of Aker ASA since 2009. Aker, based in Oslo, Norway, is an industrial investment company with a diverse portfolio including oil and gas, energy services, industrial software, green technologies, marine biotechnology, and asset management.

During Eriksen’s tenure, Aker has leveraged its 180-year industrial track record to drive growth, adopted digital technologies to improve efficiency and sustainability, and expanded its global reach through strategic partnerships.

Before joining Aker, Eriksen was a partner, director, and chairman at the Norwegian law firm BAHR. He serves on the boards of several companies within the Aker Group and is involved in non-profit organizations, including the Norwegian Cancer Society, the Accenture Global Energy Board, The HM Queen Sonja Art Foundation, and the World Economic Forum C4IR Global Network Advisory Board.
