Riccardo is a geopolitical analyst with a special focus on the political economy of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Before joining Energy Aspects, Riccardo worked as a MENA senior analyst at political risk consultancy Eurasia Group and as a MENA senior economist at Dun & Bradstreet. He has contributed articles to the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s Sada journal and provided commentary to various media outlets including Bloomberg, Reuters and the Financial Times.
Riccardo holds an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Political Science from Roma Tre University. He is fluent in French and Italian, and conversant in Arabic and Portuguese.
