Global macro indicators have become soft once again, with the latest round of business surveys from around the world released over the past few weeks pointing towards renewed weakness. Moreover, the tightness in oil fundamentals seen a few weeks ago has also eased slightly, as North Sea barrels return, Iran manages to sell more of its crude in the black market and Chinese demand remains soft, despite some slight improvements on the ground.​
